Cookie Notice
This Cookie Notice explains how Spark UGC Ltd ("we", "us", "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on sparkugc.com (the "Site"). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
1.1 Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. "Similar technologies" include local storage, pixels and scripts that read or store information on your device. In this notice we refer to all of them as "cookies".
1.2 First-party cookies are set by us. Third-party cookies are set by another organisation whose service we use on the Site.
2. Your choices
2.1 If you visit the Site from the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area or any country not listed in clause 2.2, we only use strictly necessary cookies until you choose otherwise. Our cookie banner lets you accept all, reject all, or choose by category. Rejecting is as easy as accepting.
2.2 If you visit the Site from the United States, Canada (other than Quebec), Australia or New Zealand, analytics and marketing cookies are switched on when the page loads, as described in clause 12.3 of our Privacy Policy. A Global Privacy Control signal from your browser is treated as a request to switch off marketing cookies.
2.3 You can change your choice at any time through "Cookie settings" (or "Your privacy choices") in the footer of every page. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; if you block strictly necessary cookies, parts of the Site may not work.
3. Strictly necessary
3.1 These are needed for the Site to work and to remember your cookie choice. They are used without consent under Regulation 6(4) of the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003.
(a) sparkCookieConsent (first party, local storage): records your cookie choices. Kept until you clear it or change your choice.
(b) spark_geo (first party, cookie): records the country you are visiting from so we can show the right cookie choices. Expires when you close your browser.
4. Analytics
4.1 Umami (Umami Software, Inc.): measures visits and page views in aggregate. Umami does not set cookies or store anything on your device, and does not identify you. We use it to understand and improve the Site under the exemption for statistical purposes in the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003, as amended by the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025. You can object at any time by emailing hello@sparkugc.com.
4.2 Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited), used only with your consent to the Analytics category: _ga and _ga_<ID> (first party, up to 2 years) distinguish visitors and sessions so we can see how the Site is used.
5. Marketing
5.1 Used only with your consent to the Marketing category (or as described in clause 2.2). These measure the performance of our advertising and help show our ads to relevant audiences. Meta and Google receive this data as independent controllers under their own privacy policies.
(a) Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited): _fbp (first party, 90 days) and _fbc (first party, 90 days, set when you arrive from a Meta ad). See Meta's Privacy Policy.
(b) Google Ads (Google Ireland Limited): _gcl_au and _gcl_aw (first party, 90 days) measure conversions from Google ads. Google may also set cookies on its own domains. See Google's Privacy Policy.
6. Embedded services
6.1 Some pages embed services from other providers. These load only on the page where they are used, and the provider may set its own cookies in the embedded frame.
(a) Calendly (on our booking page): the scheduling calendar. Calendly may set cookies in the calendar that it needs to run bookings. See Calendly's Privacy Notice.
(b) Tally (on our creator application page): the application form. See Tally's Privacy Policy.
7. Changes
7.1 We may update this Cookie Notice when the cookies we use change. The date at the head of this notice indicates when it was last amended.
